James Brown Jr. is the director of Baptist Vision of Georgia, a ministry currently being established. Its purpose is to:
"To stand for righteousness, liberty, and justice in family, church, state, and nation; to assist churches in rediscovering our Baptist heritage, reviving historical Baptist doctrine, rekindling the Baptist fire, renewing the Baptist commitment, and, reforming our Baptist people; to evangelize the lost and secure converts in a sound local church; to mobilize churches in major campaigns necessary for the preservation and establishment of our Biblical world-view in society; and to encourage leaders to persevere for the faith once delivered to the saints."
James has been a pastor and an assistant pastor for over 14 years. He has also directed two Christian ministries designed to help educate Christians and churches in a proper worldview, evangelism, and Christian influence in society.
James is an ordained Baptist minister and has been the pastor of churches in Indiana and Georgia. Presently, he is the pastor of Covenant Baptist Church in Barnesville, Georgia.
Raised in a Christian home, James did not receive assurance of salvation until October 21, 1993 at the age of 24 years old. God began to deal with him to surrender his life to the ministry as a pastor and help educate Christians in their responsibility of being salt and light. He has been committed to that task ever since.
James also received the following awards for his service in the USMC:
Coming Soon! Waiting on military confirmation.
He has preached in conferences and churches across America and has ministered in radio and video. Because of his background he has a huge burden for individuals who are held in bondage to sin, younger generations raised in church, and the state of our nation.
In addition to his pastoral duties, James is also involved in many organisations dedicated to life and liberty. James has been married for over 16 years to his wife, Sonya. They have 8 children, 7 girls and 1 boy.
